Be part of a Marketing led and Sales executed team culture. Grow existing business and identify new opportunities in the Acute and non-Acute space. Lead in the maintenance and acceleration of profitable sales revenue growth in the assigned geography. Actively seek and utilize the support of all business functions, tools and resources to ensure success in this role. Achieve or exceed sales targets and personal objectives.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and execute territory business plan that supports achievement of company objectives
  • Take ownership of territory sales budget objectives by targeting and closing new opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with key end user Supply Chain personnel as well as decision making stakeholders within key hospitals, IDNs and Ambulatory Surgery Centers within the assigned geography
  • As needed, drive growth initiatives through key channel partner’s (distributors) sales teams within territory
  • As needed, present and demonstrate HMG’s product portfolio to end users in the hospital and other healthcare provider settings
  • As needed, conduct and manage in-service product training within customer facilities
  • Represent company at sales meetings, tradeshows, and vendor fairs
  • Provide input on new product development, new market opportunities and sales initiatives which help develop or accelerate profitable sales revenues
  • Actively seek marketing intelligence and communicate to HMG management
  • Adhere to the HMG Quality Management by following policies, procedures, work instructions and forms/records

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience with demonstrated leadership skills within a team setting
  • Approved credentials from credentialing providers (Vendormate/GHX, Sympir, Reptrax, Intellicentrics, etc.) that enable access to hospital clinical departments (i.e., Operating Room, ICU, ER, Floors, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding budgeted sales targets
  • Demonstrated experience in successful selling into the Acute and non-Acute Materials Management departments
  • Demonstrated experience and relationships with channel (distribution) partners
  • Experience with CRM Technology
  • Interpersonal teamwork approach and customer-oriented mind-set
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to overnight travel as required for sales opportunities or customer service needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Focused attention to details, organization, deadlines, and professionalism at all times
